Redoute Marie-Thérèse

A defensive structure that is part of the so-called Barrière de l'Esseillon - a fortification work located on both sides of the l'Arc River, which includes four more forts. The defensive complex was built at the beginning of the 20th century. In the nineteenth century, to defend Savoie against French aggression, it lost its importance after the merger of the two countries. Currently, it houses the local cultural center.
