The Vesikko submarine is one of the five submarines that served in the Finnish Navy. According to the provisions of the Treaty of Paris of 1947, Finland could not have this type of boat, so the others were scrapped and Vesikko was turned into a floating museum and in 1973 was made available to the public.
During the tour, you can see the restored interior of the boat and its equipment, the most impressive of which are torpedoes. An additional attraction that builds a specific atmosphere during a visit on board the ship are the sounds - you can hear the sounds of engine operation, crew commands and the sounds of a torpedo attack.
