Museum of the City of Crikvenica

The City Museum in Crikvenica is a perfect example of combining history and modernity. Items documenting the life of the town and the entire area from prehistoric times to the end of the 20th century are exhibited here. You can see everyday objects, a large collection of photos, postcards and various documents, as well as paleontological and archaeological collections.

Despite presenting the past to visitors, the museum is very modern, focused mainly on education and interaction. Often there are workshops for children and adults. In addition, the museum organizes numerous cultural events, museum lessons tailored to both the youngest and oldest recipients, as well as individual tours with a guide explaining everything.

The City Museum in Crikvenica was founded by the city authorities in 2008 to collect, record, document, study and present the region's cultural heritage. Its employees also conduct archeological and paleontological research in Crikvenica and its surroundings.
