The small but picturesque cave is located on the slopes of Batak Mountain in the Western Rhodope Mountains. It is 145 m long and is almost entirely electrified, so it can be visited comfortably even with children. You just have to remember about warm clothes, because the average temperature in the cave is only 8-9 ° C.
There are 5 halls in the cave, rich in various karst forms such as stalgmites, stalactites and stalagnates. The largest stalactite is 1.27 m. In the "Magic Hall", which is covered with a snow-white, crystal sinter, there is a natural rock formation resembling the fairy-tale Snow White. This is where the name of the whole grotto comes from.
The cave serves as a refuge for wintering bats under protection. From November to March I winter in it, among others large horseshoe bat, cory blade, lesser horseshoe bat and horseshoe bat.
