Built in 2003, the fast (6 m / s) gondola lift (up to 4 people in one cabin) overcomes the level difference of 555 m (780-1335 m above sea level). The ride on the route of less than 2 km takes about 6 minutes. The lower station has a tourist information center on the offer of the Schmittenhöhe - Zell am See ski area.
