The fourteenth-century temple with an impressive 76-meter (83 m in some sources) tower is a known and popular pilgrimage site. The faithful come here to pray in front of the miraculous gothic figure of the Mother of God. The building has preserved features of Gothic architecture and mostly baroque furnishings and interior decorations.
