Naturpark Sierra de Huétor

Parque Natural de la Sierra de Huétor y la Alfaguara is a protected landscape area that is home to many species of wild animals, incl. badgers, foxes and martens. There are many interesting monuments on its territory, incl. the neoclassical El Cuzco chateau in Víznar. It is worth visiting the La Alfaguara Arboretum with a nursery of conifers, which are forested in the Sierra de Huétor. Tourists can use the accommodation facilities, there are camping sites in Alfacar and Huétor-Santillán.
