The Castle Park in the city of Pezinok was founded in the first half of the 19th century. It is a popular place for walks and relaxation. Many monumental trees and shrubs grow here, including plane trees, magnolias, American bundles and three-thorns.
The park was founded by Count Franciszek Palfy, who owned the castle in Pezinok in the first half of the 19th century. it is an English-style garden that looks like a natural grove, but in which there are specially selected trees from all over the world.
A nature path has now been marked out in the park. The most valuable and characteristic specimens are described on special plates. Many species of insects and birds live in the park, and the pond is inhabited by carps. Bats nest in the attics of the former castle buildings.
