The stronghold from the 1st century AD is now a living archaeological museum. It has been carefully reconstructed, including the surrounding wall - originally about 4.5 m high and 5 to 6 m thick. The fortified settlement is located in the Öland district, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
