Protestant cathedral, which is the largest Gothic church in the Baltics. It was built in 1211 and is a three-nave basilica with a massive tower above the entrance and a presbytery with an apse. Covered with cross-ribbed vaults, the interior is raw and unadorned. Under the choir, Anders Lennartsson, the commander from Kircholm, was buried in 1602. The temple is decorated with monumental organs from the 19th century, one of the best in Northern Europe.
