Historisches Zentrum

The center of the town picturesquely situated on Lake Gada was shaped in the Middle Ages. Tenement houses, palaces and villas from different eras have found their place in the tangle of narrow, cobbled streets. Next to the 16th century Villa Albertini there is a beautiful magnolia garden. The main church of the city, Santa Maria Asunta, represents the Baroque style. The medieval Rocca castle towers over the buildings.
