Papyrusmuseum "Corrado Basile"

The museum has a rich collection of items made of the so-called papyrus cane. The exhibits date from the 15th century BC to the 8th century AD. papyrus boats from Ethiopia and Lake Chad, papyrus containers, sandals, ropes and mats, as well as scribes' tools and materials. Extensive scientific documentation was also collected.
