Castel Taufers

The medieval castle was built at the beginning of the 13th century on a promontory separating Tauferera from Ahrntal. It has a well-preserved tower, granary and fortifications. The main features of the interior are Gothic frescoes in the chapel with a rare, many wooden paneling and furnished rooms.
