Regionalpark Roccamonfina - Foce Garigliano

A nature park covering the area around the inactive volcano Roccamonfina in Campania. Its activity is now manifested only by the presence of warm mineral springs and the intense smell of sulfur appearing in the lower parts of the area. Chestnut and olive groves and vineyards grow on the volcano's slopes. There are also fertile meadows with orchids. Numerous hiking and biking trails run through the park.
