The cathedral is the main monument of Ravello and the focal point of the town. It was built in the 12th century, but since then it has undergone numerous reconstructions and is now a resident of the Romanesque and Baroque styles.
The façade features three stone portals from the period of the construction of the church. In the middle one there is the famous bronze carved entrance door. The interior of the cathedral has three naves and is mainly decorated with Baroque decorations. There are also fragments of mosaics from the 13th century and a decorated medieval pulpit and choir pulpit.weniger
