PORTOVENEREItalien
Doria Schloss
Lokaler Name: Castello Doria
A gothic castle rising majestically on a rocky hill above the buildings of Portovenere. It was built by the Genoese in the 12th century as part of the coastal fortifications. Inside the walls, reinforced with a bastion, there are former residential buildings intended for soldiers. Currently, exhibitions, cultural events and celebrations are held in the castle, and the walls are a perfect vantage point.
