A nature reserve including a historic naturalistic park in Piedmont, designed at the beginning of the 19th century.
Its terrain is diverse in terms of landscape and includes low mountains, not exceeding 1000 m above sea level. In the perspective, however, much higher alpine peaks, covered with snow until late spring, are visible in the future. The park was planted on the foundation of a forest that had grown here earlier. Decorative flowers and shrubs, especially rhododendrons, which bloom most beautifully in spring, were introduced to the natural vegetation.weniger
