Kirche San Francesco von Mazara del Vallo

A church whose origins date back to the 11th century, when the original Normandy Gothic temple was built. It was rebuilt in the 16th century in the baroque style, and the only remnants of the earlier style are the sharp arches in the outer walls of the building. The interior is covered with rich painting and sculptural decorations.
