Schwäbische Angevin-Festung

Built on a high plateau, a medieval fortress that was used to control this area. The mighty perimeter walls and some of the towers have survived to our times, including the central tower erected at the beginning of the 13th century by Frederick I Anjou. Archaeological research is carried out around the castle, covering settlement from the Neolithic times to the Middle Ages.
