Naturpark Alta Valle Pesio und Tanaro

With nearly 7,000 hectares, the protection area covers areas with a wealth of karst formations - numerous caves, rock wells and a network of underground corridors. There are over 700 caves in the park, including the vast one like Poggiabella, which has about 40 km of corridors and reaches a depth of 950 m below the ground.
