The cathedral which was the first Christian temple built in the city - the church was built in the 7th century. Bubynek was almost completely destroyed by Allied bombing during World War II, but was fortunately rebuilt quickly. On August 10, 1910, he was ordained a priest here by St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina.
