Torre dei Signorì

Two-story towers built at regular intervals along the former city walls. Most of them have survived to this day. Originally, they allowed for the observation of the surrounding areas and a better defense of the city. In the Middle Ages, they were converted into residential houses, and later they were used for various purposes, which is why they differ significantly from each other.
