Morricastle Beach is located in County Wexford in the South of Ireland. It is a very popular summer destination. It belongs to the 22 km long stretch of beaches stretching from Cahore to Curracloe. The sandy beach is very clean, and the waters here are considered safe and calm.
The beach is surrounded by sand dunes. Behind them there is a parking lot and a large campsite. Over 5,000 tourists pass through the beach during the summer season. Morricastle is popular especially with families. The local beach and the sea are very safe. During the season, lifeguards are on duty.
Apart from holidaymakers, Moricastle is also visited by people interested in observing marine life. Many species of fish live in the local waters, and on the beaches you can often see seals basking in the sun.
