The Croagh Patrick Visitor Center is a shelter located at the foot of Mount Croagh Patrick in Ireland. Founded in 2000 by a married couple of archaeologists, it serves pilgrims, hikers, climbers and travelers by offering food and beverage services and the opportunity to rest before further exploring this part of Ireland. There is also a cafe and a craft shop.
The Croagh Patrick Visitor Center is an initiative of Gerry Walsh and his wife, Gabrielle. Visitors can also use the information desk, hear about the history of the mountain and the surrounding region, and book a guided tour. This place is visited by thousands of tourists every year - Croagh Patrick is called the sacred mountain of Ireland and is a pilgrimage place associated with the cult of the country's patron saint - Saint Patrick, who, according to the beliefs, spent 40 days on the mountain during Lent.
