Crémieux Straße

Rue Cremieux is called the most colorful street in Paris. It is located near the Lyons station. It is a cobbled street intended for pedestrians. There are 38 low houses with facades painted in pastel colors.

On Rue Cremieux you get the impression that time has stood still. In the busy center of Paris, it is an oasis of tranquility and provincialism. The street was bypassed by a major reconstruction in the mid-19th century. There are no huge, ornate edifices here, but only one or two-story tenement houses with windows covered with external blinds.
