Ventadour Schloss

The 11th-century stronghold occupies the entire square (170 x 30 m) on the top of the hill, which perfectly improved its defensive qualities. The castle was abandoned in the 16th century, and 200 years later it was treated as a site for obtaining building materials. In 1946, the ruins were declared a monument and made available to visitors.
