Nationaler Platz

Montauban central square. Its buildings date from the 17th century. The buildings were erected after two fires that destroyed the earlier medieval and renaissance buildings. Around the square there are identical buildings occupying the entire frontage. Their facades are decorated with pilasters and tympanums. There is a fountain in the middle of the square.
