Augustinisches Museum

In the former Augustinian monastery, you can see rich collections of paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries, collections of sacred art, and in the ethnographic part, a reconstruction of traditional Flemish cuisine. An interesting fact is the collection of local giants - huge puppets worn during the carnival in accordance with a tradition dating back to the Middle Ages.
