The Vaasa market hall was built in the Gothic style according to the design of the architect AW Stenfors. It consists of two parts. The lower hall was put into use in 1902, and the upper hall 25 years later. Both parts were connected together, creating a passage between them, only in the 1960s. Currently, the hall houses shops and stalls with food - fresh meat, fish, bread, fruit and vegetables. There is also a Thai restaurant.
