The Biological Museum in Turku was founded in 1907. It is housed in a wooden building designed by Alexander Nyström in an ornamental, Art Nouveau style. The permanent exhibition includes 13 natural dioramas, where you can see 30 species of mammals and 136 species of birds found in Finland. Temporary themed exhibitions and family events are also held here regularly.
