Benediktiner Erzabtei St. Martin

Established in 1863, the Benedictine abbey was established in a place where various religious congregations functioned almost continuously from the 9th century. In 1927-1933, Edith Stein, a philosopher of Jewish origin, now a Catholic church day, was a frequent guest of the monastery.
