Hull, or rather Kingston upon Hull, as the official name of the city sounds, is a large industrial and commercial center of northern England. Due to the significant damage from World War II, there are not many monuments here, but the city boasts some interesting museums.

The city has existed since the Middle Ages, but it gained greater importance only during the industrial revolution. It was then that large factories were built, and the port gained great importance as an export center for products manufactured here. Due to the great industrial and logistical importance, more than 95% of the city's buildings ceased to exist as a result of multiple bombings by the German aviation.

Today, Hull's most important attractions include its museums and educational centers. The most famous is The Deep Aquarium, home to several thousand fish and other marine animals from around the world. Other attractions of the city are also connected with the sea, such as the Maritime Museum with models of ships, exhibitions showing Hull's relationship with the sea and an exhibition of marine paintings, and the Arctic Corsar museum ship moored in the local docks.

While in Hull, you can also visit the Transport Museum, the William Wilberforce House-Museum, known for its struggle to free slaves, and the City History Museum located in the town's main square, Trinity Square.
