Topoľčianky is a tourist town famous for its castle, where the Habsburgs and the president of Czechoslovakia from the interwar period, Tomasz Masaryk, were eagerly hosted.
Topoľčianky Castle, the biggest attraction of the village, was built in the 16th century, but its present appearance is the result of several reconstructions. The last one took place in the 20th century, when the residence was eagerly visited by President Masaryk. Most of the castle rooms are currently occupied by an exclusive hotel, but one wing is open to the public.
Around the castle there is the Park in Topoľčianki, one of the most important garden complexes in Slovakia. On its premises there is the Castle Orangery and several ponds, walking paths and gazebos.
One of the most important Slovak studs is located in Topoľčianki. The history of horse breeding is presented in the Hippology Museum. There is also an Ethnographic Museum in the village, and an unusual attraction is the Bison Zoo, established in 1958, to which animals from the Białowieża Forest were brought.
