Озеро Болбочи

The reservoir Bolboci lake is situated on the Jałomica River in the Bucegi mountain range. It was created as a result of the construction of the Bolboci dam, built in 1988. The lake is surrounded by picturesque forests. On its shore there is a tourist cottage Cabana Bolboci. It was built in the 1920s. Until 1971 it was unheated and was used only in the summer, but now it is open to tourists all year round.
