The nature park covers an area of meadows, forests and wetlands. There are several nature reserves under strict protection on its territory. Over 200 different plant species grow here, 70 of which are threatened with extinction.
Among the animals, birds and fish are the most abundant here. You can meet over 140 species of birds here, including 71 of them under international protection. Among them are reeds, sparrowhawks, white and black storks. There are 13 species of fish in rivers and lakes, including endemic species such as the Balkan mule. Representatives of mammals include bats and gophers.
There are numerous hiking and cycling routes in the park. There is a rope park here with attractions for both children and adults. There are also organized canoeing trips.
