Юнион-сквер

The square is located in the center of Bucharest and is one of the largest squares in the city. It is divided in two by Bulevardul Unirii. Next to the square there is a shopping center, Cocor department store and the historic Hanul lui Manuc, which is the oldest working hotel building in the whole country.

In the center of the square there is a small park and fountains that provide pleasant refreshment in summer. Every year in December, a large Christmas tree is set up here.
