Свято-Троицкий собор

St. Trinity at Baia Mare was built in 1990. It is the second largest cathedral in Romania. It is 85 m long, 50 m wide and 96 m high. It is second only to the Cathedral of the Salvation of the Nation in Bucharest. In the spacious interior there are 12 columns supporting the central dome, a marble altar and oak furniture. There is a large Byzantine-style room next to the church, which houses exhibitions of valuable icons.
