Observation tower

The Observation Tower in Chyrzyn is a two-storey, wooden and approximately 20-meter high viewing point located in the area of the Northern Polder. The terrace overlooks the 8,074 hectares of the Warta Mouth National Park and three rivers: Odra, Warta and Postomia. The viewpoint is also a good place to observe the Warta wetlands, one of the most important water and marsh bird reserves in Poland.

245 species of birds, including 174 breeding ones, have been found in the park. As many as 26 of them belong to species that are disappearing on a global scale. These are i.a. aquatic warbler, corncrake, black-tailed godwit, crane, bittern, little bittern, black tern.

The observation tower is part of the management building of the Warta Mouth National Park. Thanks to the glass walls of the tower, you can stay on top of it in all weather conditions.
