Аббатство Новачелла

The monastery was founded in 1142 by the bishop of Brixen, one building was rebuilt and enlarged several times by the end of the 18th century. The monastery is considered to be one of the most important in northern Italy. The entire complex consists of several buildings from different eras and styles: a Romanesque bell tower, a Gothic choir and presbytery, a Baroque church and a library.
