Базилика Санта-Мария-Ассунта

The church was built in the 13th century. Its architecture is dominated by the Norman version of the Gothic style. In its richly decorated interior you can see numerous paintings and sculptures. The vault of the nave shows frescoes with scenes from the life of the Mother of God, and the colorful stained glass windows refer to the local fauna and flora.
