Peak of Vallandro 2838 m

A peak in the Dolomites, 2,839 meters above sea level, culminating in a 12 km long mountain range. It is famous for its wonderful panorama including, among others the peaks of Croda Rossa d'Ampezzo, Monte Cristallo, Cadini Misurina, Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Monte Serla, Seekofel and, in the background, the Alpine peaks on the Austrian side. There is a walking trail leading to the top, on which a metal cross stands, which starts in Valle di Braies.
