Памятник Доменико Модуньо

Standing on the seashore, a statue of the famous Italian singer from Polignano a Mare, Domenico Modugno. The sculpture was erected in 2009 and was made by the Argentine artist Hermann Mejer. The monument is 3 meters high and the singer is facing the city and stands with his arms outstretched, as when he performed his best known hit "Volare".
