Замок Фирмиано

This castle is one of the largest in South Tyrol. From 1027, the building was owned by the bishops of Trento, in the 15th century it was handed over to Sigismund, Archduke of Austria and the ruler of Tyrol. Castel Firmiano has been owned by the Province of Bolzano since 1996. In 2006, a mountain museum was opened here.
