Pegasus Park is a green area in the San Andreu district. It was laid out in a post-industrial area. It is divided into two parts connected by a joint. The first is a wide avenue with benches shaded by palm trees, and the second is a hilly area with thickets and sports fields. The park is crossed by a canal whose shores are covered with typical riverside vegetation.
Until the seventies of the twentieth century, where the park is today, there were the halls of the Pegaso truck factory. Its symbol was a winged horse. When the factory was closed, it was decided to turn the degraded area into a green area. The park was opened in 1986.
The park is primarily a place of rest and recreation for the residents of the district. Thanks to separate zones, there is a place both for people looking for a rest in the shade of trees and for those who prefer to spend time actively. The canal flowing through the park was used to show the waterside vegetation, from weeping willows and poplars to a bamboo grove.
