The Humanity Museum was opened in 1995. It is the first museum in the world entirely devoted to humans. The interactive complex aims to arouse the curiosity of visitors and present the diversity of the human species' features through play: from identity to skills.
Born in La Coruña, writer and researcher Ramon Nunez Centella was the initiator of the creation of this fantastic object. The spectacular museum building was designed by the Japanese architect Arata Isozaki and the Spanish designer César Portela. Its amazing facade resembles the sail of a ship in the wind.
The museum has been divided into nearly 200 modules. The IMAX projection room has also been prepared for visitors. Large-format science films will delight not only the youngest explorers.
