The museum is located in the former church of Saint Catherine. It is a thirteenth century temple that served as a mosque in Turkish times. In the renovated interiors, you can see an exhibition of icons, robes, books and liturgical vessels enriched with multimedia. A large part of the exhibition is related to the Cretan school of iconography.
