The castle was built in 1721-1727 according to a design by Füssen Johann Georg Fischer. The interiors are decorated with sculptures by Joseph Anton Feuchtmayer. You can admire beautiful frescoes, as well as a mirrored hall with Rococo furniture, Venetian chandeliers and a beautiful Japanese vase. Since 2005, the Rudolf Wachter Museum has also been located here.
