Церковь Нотр-Дам-ла-Гранд

The cathedral is considered a masterpiece of Romanesque religious architecture. The three-nave basilica with a transept and a tower above the intersection of the aisles has a magnificent facade with three portals and sculptural decorations depicting figures from the Bible. The interior is decorated with partly preserved Romanesque frescoes, and partly with 19th century geometric patterns referring to Byzantine art.
