Региональный парк Луара-Анжу-Турень

The regional nature park includes different kinds of landscapes - forests, grassy valleys, vineyards, hills and farmland. It is crossed by rivers and streams, the surroundings of which are home to beavers, salmon and over 200 species of birds.

There are numerous walking and cycling routes in the park. You can also go for a ride in a rented horse-drawn carriage. Canoeing trips are organized on the rivers Loire and Vienne. Water equipment can be rented at approximately 10 locations. You can also explore the park area on organized tours with a guide.

It is worth paying attention to the architectural heritage in the park. Here you can see the medieval architecture of the towns and visit historic castles such as Azay-le-Rideau, Langeais and Saumur.
