One of the smallest French gothic cathedrals, and at the same time one of the longest built (12th-16th centuries), it has all the features and varieties of the Gothic style from the entire period of its domination in sacred architecture. The northern façade of the building was consciously modeled on the famous Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.
